About The Harvest House
A promise that no youth should navigate adulthood alone.
The Harvest House is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) transitional living organization serving youth aging out of foster care and at-risk young adults ages 18–24. We are not an emergency shelter — we are a structured residential and career development program designed to build successful adults.
Founder's Message
A message from our founder.
There are some young adults who enter the world carrying far more than they should ever have to carry alone.
For youth aging out of foster care and vulnerable young adults facing instability, the transition into adulthood often comes without the support, guidance, or safety net many take for granted. Too often, they are expected to survive life's most critical years with no foundation beneath them.
The Harvest House was created because survival is not enough.
I founded this organization with one clear belief: every young person deserves more than temporary help — they deserve the opportunity to build a stable, independent, and successful future.
At The Harvest House, we are committed to providing more than housing. We are building a place where structure meets compassion, where accountability meets mentorship, and where practical opportunity meets lasting transformation. Through life skills education, workforce development, transportation assistance, career partnerships, and long-term guidance, we are creating a bridge from crisis to confidence.
This mission is deeply personal to me because I understand that one stable environment, one committed mentor, and one real opportunity can alter the course of an entire life.
We are not simply opening doors — we are helping young adults walk through them prepared.
The Harvest House is a promise that no youth should have to navigate adulthood alone.
Thank you for believing in this vision, standing with this mission, and helping us build futures rooted in hope, dignity, and stability.

Why Youth Aging Out Are Vulnerable
The safety net ends on a birthday — not when they are ready.
Without family, permanent housing, credit, savings, or adult mentors, these young adults face homelessness, trafficking, exploitation, untreated mental health struggles, and incarceration at disproportionate rates.
Why Long-Term Support Matters
Short-term help leaves them where it found them. Structure changes trajectories.
The Harvest House provides 12–24 months of stable residence, weekly life skills, a certified career pathway, mentorship, and aftercare — the ingredients proven to produce self-sufficient adults.
