Our Programs

Nine structured services. One pathway to independence.

Every resident moves through an integrated continuum of housing, education, workforce training, mentorship, and exit planning designed to produce self-sufficient adults.

Transitional Living Housing
Program 01

Transitional Living Housing

The Harvest House provides safe, structured, and supportive residential housing for young adults transitioning out of foster care or unstable living environments. Residents are given more than a place to stay — they are given a stable foundation where accountability, routine, personal responsibility, and healing can begin. Our housing model is designed to create consistency while preparing each resident for long-term independent living.

Life Skills & Adulting Education
Program 02

Life Skills & Adulting Education

Many youth aging out of care have never been taught the practical responsibilities of adulthood. Through structured weekly life skills classes, residents learn budgeting, meal planning, time management, hygiene, household maintenance, communication skills, conflict resolution, and personal organization. These lessons are designed to build confidence and reduce the fear that often comes with sudden independence.

Workforce Development & Job Readiness
Program 03

Workforce Development & Job Readiness

Employment is one of the strongest predictors of long-term stability. The Harvest House equips residents with resume preparation, interview coaching, job search assistance, workplace etiquette, employer referrals, and ongoing employment accountability. We focus on helping each participant secure not just a job, but a pathway toward sustainable income and upward mobility.

Trade School & Certification Pathways
Program 04

Trade School & Certification Pathways

Traditional college is not the only route to success. The Harvest House places a strong emphasis on trade and certification programs that provide faster access to employable skills and stable income. Through strategic partnerships with cosmetology schools, CDL training providers, technical certifications, and workforce institutions, residents are connected to practical career opportunities that lead directly to self-sufficiency.

Transportation Assistance
Program 05

Transportation Assistance

Lack of transportation is one of the most common barriers preventing young adults from maintaining employment, education, and appointments. The Harvest House provides coordinated transportation support to help residents access work, school, interviews, workforce training, and critical services while they work toward obtaining personal transportation and independent mobility.

Financial Literacy & Budget Coaching
Program 06

Financial Literacy & Budget Coaching

Financial instability often begins with a lack of financial education. Residents receive practical instruction in budgeting, banking, saving, responsible spending, bill management, and credit awareness. Our goal is to equip every participant with the tools needed to manage money wisely, avoid crisis debt, and build healthy long-term financial habits.

Mentorship & Emotional Wellness
Program 07

Mentorship & Emotional Wellness

Healing and confidence are essential parts of successful transition. Residents are paired with mentors, accountability leaders, and trusted support systems that provide encouragement, life guidance, emotional reinforcement, and healthy relationship modeling. Through consistent mentorship, residents are reminded that they are not navigating adulthood alone.

Independent Living Exit Planning
Program 08

Independent Living Exit Planning

The goal of The Harvest House is not dependency — it is successful transition. Every resident works through an individualized exit plan focused on employment stability, transportation, savings goals, housing readiness, and practical adult responsibilities. Our team helps ensure each participant leaves with a realistic roadmap for maintaining independence.

Aftercare Alumni Support
Program 09

Aftercare Alumni Support

Support should not end the day a resident moves out. The Harvest House offers continued aftercare support through check-ins, referrals, mentorship, crisis guidance, and resource connection as alumni continue navigating adulthood. We believe sustained success often requires sustained support.
